Chelsea Bagley Dyreng grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where her dad sold fireworks, gasoline and candy bars. When fireworks became illegal in Jackson her family moved to Idaho where she attended high school and later Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho). After that she moved to BYU in Provo, Utah to finish her education. After five years she found a farmboy whose greatest wish in life was to find a low-maintainance beauty queen. They were married the semester before she graduated (with a degree in English and music).
Chelsea worked in various libraries including the Provo City Library, BYU Special Collections, and BYU's Circulation Dept.
Chelsea now lives in North Carolina where instead of raising turkeys her husband thrills audiences at Duke University with his vast knowledge of corporate tax.
Meanwhile Chelsea stays at home with their five children, walking around all day with her hands full.
