The Presents Left Behind

These three little cloth dolls were for Sophie, Syrena and Naomi for Christmas. But with the play kitchen and the fake food and the books and the hot pink cowgirl boots, these dolls never even had a chance. So they stayed at the back of the tree until Christmas afternoon when I finally scooped them up and put them back in their hiding place. Perhaps they will appear on Valentines day or a birthday...or whenever the time seems right. With gifts I think timing is everything, and their time will come soon... for now I'll just let you enjoy them. (They each have two dresses, a blanket, a pillow, a nightgown and apron and a petticoat. Doesn't it just make you want to be four again?)

  1. I'm very proud of you for hiding the dolls again! The girls will then have a chance to be really excited about them when the reappear.:)

  2. I also removed a present or two that will reappear wrap in birthday wrap instead. Good for you knowing when enough presents are enough, for a Christmas morning.

  3. Did you make those? I love them.

  4. I'm impressed. I want to learn how to sew. What a good idea to save them for later! I would love to have them!
