This week was the first week home with our new baby Levi.
As anyone who has had a newborn knows, it has been quite the week.
I haven't been out much, but this morning I emerged from my house
and found this in the backyard:
and found this in the backyard:
I won't tell you who made it...
...but I will tell you that this same man brought a warm Dutch oven berry cobbler into my bedroom this morning.
And he also did my laundry this week.
He washed my dishes, fixed my ice maker,
and went grocery shopping. About six times.
He would never admit to doing all of these things, You see, he is too modest.
So modest that I'm pretty sure he isn't going to like this blog post.
But I will reassure him that I didn't tell anyone his name or who he is.
I'll only say that he is my greatest blessing.
What a sweetheart you have--both the baby and "he who must not be named!"
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your sweet little one! And I totally understand your sentiments in this post. =) I too am lucky to have a "greatest blessing" like that too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! Scott is the best! And Levi is just adorable! Give him squeezes and kisses for me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful post with your new son and a very caring, loving husband!
ReplyDeleteOh that is so sweet and wonderful... whoever that was... to do all that for you. What a beautiful baby boy to add to your already super beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post. I love it. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThe title threw me off. I would have figured it out much sooner if the title had been "rhymes with snot" or "rot" or even "jot".
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you"re in good hands and that photo of Levi is adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt does appear that your life is good. Is your mom coming out to help anytime?
